The year is 2023, and the Second Wizarding War has ended disastrously a year prior.

The small glimmer of hope that broke through the smoke with the miraculous return of Harry Potter from the dead was stamped out in an instant. The Dark Lord triumphed in the duel against the Boy Who Lived, but instead of finishing him off, a deal was made. 

One of Voldemort’s Death Eaters, Julius Rookwood, the nephew of one of his fallen followers, discovered the Resurrection Stone in the Forbidden Forest after Harry dropped it on his way to what he thought was his death. Julius presented it to Voldemort, who, in turn, brought it to the table as a bartering chip to kick off his regime. 

The deal went as follows; in exchange for the resurrection of the recently fallen, Harry would surrender and make the Unbreakable Vow not to retaliate again. Harry thought of the Weasleys, of Fred, of Cedric, of Sirius, of Teddy Lupin, who had just been condemned to an orphaned beginning as he had. His mind was made up. He made the vow that ended the war. 

The Dark Lord had won.

Why are they/did they, arrange your characters Marriage?: The Clarington’s are a respected enough family in the town and the broader, outside world.  They’re very, very focused on having a legacy which of course, requires children.

How do you feel about the person your parents chose for you?:  Hunter feels trapped by duty and not wanting to actually disappointing his parents. So there’s some rage there but mostly he’s resigned to suffering though a sexless marriage to maintain the lie his parents want to believe.

Bio:

The Clarington name is something to be respected and feared since they were among the founding members of the town and the family that actually put them on the map, at least in the world of wine.  When Hunter was born, he was always destined to be his fathers heir.  A large burden placed on him from a young age. Be the best. Be everything a Clarington man should be.  Live up to his ancestors shadow and exceeded it.  For the most part, Hunter managed to handle that. He went to the best schools, wore the best suits and generally, was everything you’d expect from the rich heir to a wine fortune.

Everything would be perfect apart from the fact he had no interest in woman outside friendship and occasional flirting. He knew from a young age that it wasn’t something he’d ever want or something he’d ever really…crave.  Thank god the internet exist otherwise he’d simply be in denial for the rest of his life. While he might never actually find love, at least he’d live a comfortable life. When his mother proposed the perfect girl to his partner. Smart. Beautiful. Charming. Well, it was hard not to simply smile and tell his mother she’d made the perfect choice.

God forbid he ruin his whole family over a simple little thing like wanting guy to-…Well, nevermind.

Biography:

Tommaso is the youngest of the group of Romano siblings that Carlo and Arden belong to. Tommaso always looked up to his brothers, especial Carlo (and Arden, not that Tommaso would ever admit to that) who are the closest in age to him apart from their sisters, and so it was no surprise when he chose the designation of Dominant like them.  Tommaso was an average student but was diligent and hard working.  He was always athletic and strong, though, and enjoyed many physical pursuits.  His hard work and diligence was never more apparent than when he was in the gym.  Tommi’s true passion though? Gymnastics.  And in true Romano style, he put his whole self into it, striving to be the best.  This was also how he got the attention he craved from most of his family, including his brother Carlo.  

Tommaso is stubborn.  This passion of his was not exactly welcome within the family at large, but he was conniving as well.  Knowing that an athletic career would only be achievable for a handful of years, Tommasso promised to work on his MBA part time, ready to join the family business once he was too old to compete in gymnastics anymore.  The only thing that made this even an option, was the fact that he really was that good.  Eight years Tommi was named to the Italian National team, seven trips to the World championships, ten world medals, named as an alternate for the London Olympics, the the games in Rio Tommi placed a heartbreaking 4th or 5th in his specialties and 5th overall.  Tommi is now gearing up for the Olympics in Paris in 2020 as team Captain.

Which is what has finally brought Tommaso to Verona where his brothers are; the National athletics competition at Verona stadium.  This is also his first introduction to Verona and her population.  He’s studied and trained all over Italy and the world, but not yet in Verona.  Also, he knows that his reluctance to find a claim and settle down will be pushed hard once he arrives in Verona as it’s very likely after this competition season leading up to the 2020 Olympics, he will finally stop competing.  Being grayromantic though, Tommi has very little desire to actually claim anyone.  While he is very comfortable with using people, submissives, for his physical pleasure, release, and needs, the Dominant has no wishes to be used strictly for his name.  However, Verona is filled with other Noble families and if he can possibly meet a worthy claim and settle on an agreement of sorts, then perhaps he will be able to please the Romano heads one day.  

Tommaso, as the youngest child, is a brat; no two ways about it.  And because of his lack of romantic inclinations, and his not so discrete hetero-flexible activities, he is well aware that if he were a submissive, the chances of him having been sent off to the Aunties long ago are quite large.  But he is also charismatic, charming, cunning, and conniving, sometimes even disarming members of the family with his soulful eyes, perfect smile, and charming wit. Not that it works on Madam or Lord Romano, but either they see something in the Dominant, or he has flown completely under their radar until now.

Bio:

Regulus is the youngest son of Orion and Walburga Black. Being born into a pureblood family, their family’s beliefs and traditions were spoken about as soon as the two boys were old enough to understand. Although Regulus might have not agreed with the way his parents did thing, he did agree with doing things that made them happy. As a young boy, Regulus did nothing but crave for attention and to be liked. Espeically by his parents. As the youngest Black, their attention didn’t fall on him the way it fell on his older brother, Sirius. He was their first born and the heir to the Black family. It was hard to please their parents but very easy to upset them. And Regulus saw how happy they were when he did what they asked him to do, and he saw how angry they got with Sirius when he did not. Sirius did not share the same values as the rest of the Black family and although the two brothers slightly disagreed on things, Regulus still looked up to the boy much like a younger brother would. He admired his bravery and confidence to stick up for himself, something Regulus did not have. And when Sirius eventually ran away, Regulus was crushed. He was upset that he seemed to find a family..a new brother..in James Potter. Most importantly, he was upset that Sirius knew what his parents were capable of and left him there. With Sirius’ absence, Regulus should’ve been happy. It meant that Regulus was now the light of their life, the new heir to the family. It meant he received all of the attention Sirius once got, something he had been yearning for..but it didn’t feel right. Was this the price he had to pay for his parent’s acceptance? The loss of his brother? The rest of the Black family wasted no time in disowning and forgetting about Sirius soon after he left. But loyalty was everything for the youngest Black and he still viewed Sirius as his brother. Besides, now that he was older and understood things more, he wasn’t sure that the attention from his parents was something he wanted after all. Maybe Sirius was right, after all. Because Regulus had a secret. A secret that he had not told anymore in fear of ending up like his brother and all those in Pureblood families who chose to be different. His parents expected him to be married off to a pureblooded woman and have kids to continue the lineage but he was gay and he had no desire to sacrifice who he was but if he did, it meant he would lose his family in the process and Regulus wasn’t sure that’s what he wanted either. He knew he couldn’t have both.
